How Can You Help Us
We always welcome volunteers to help us deliver our services. There are
a wide range of opportunities for people to help us. Current volunteering
opportunities include:
Trustees - if you are interested in ensuring that Plymouth
and District Mind is run efficiently and effectively, please contact Richard
Wakerell, Director for further information. Executive Committee meetings
are held every six to eight weeks. We welcome particularly trustees who
have used mental health services.
Volunteer befrienders - if you have a few hours to spare
each week and you are keen to help vulnerable people overcome isolation
and build up their self confidence, we would love to hear from you. Training
and support will be provided. Please contact Claudette Wilson.
Volunteer painters/decorators - are needed to help us maintain
our impressive premises. If you could help us out, please contact Richard
Wakerell
